About me
Salut! I am Clémence, a Parisian living and teaching in London since 2016.
My love for sharing my native language with others came when I first set foot in the UK ten years ago for a year abroad. The mix of cultures and languages I encountered made me even more passionate about my own. Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach French in my hometown as well as Australia, eventually coming back to my first love: London.
My approach
Guess what? French grammar can be fun and enjoyable! Having worked with easily-bored teenagers and busy professionals, I always strive to make the lesson interesting and relevant to the needs of the students, whatever their level and goals. I like mixing it up with listening, reading and speaking activities, always trying to give tips and secrets about what French people really say in day-to-day life along with useful grammar applied in realistic contexts. Communication is key and I make sure my students can express themselves from the start.

Academic and professional qualifications
- Sorbonne-Nouvelle University - Paris (2014): Master’s Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language.
- Denis Diderot University - Paris (2010): Bachelor’s Degree in English language, literature and history.
