Keen to kick start your language skills with some private classes but want to see what they’re like first? City Lingual can offer you a one hour trial class for £30. Your teacher will come to a location of your choice, at a time that suits you, and get to know your needs and interests and create a tailor-made syllabus just for you. This way you’ll have the chance to try it out before committing to a class pack.

After your trial class, you will arrange your private classes with the teacher on a day and time of your convenience; it’s usually advisable to agree to a regular day and time.

General languages:

Single class: £45/hr for 1:1 and £26/hr per student for 2:1

Discounted class packs: 1hr classes

• £215 for 5 classes 1:1 / £125 per student for 5 classes 2:1
• £390 for 10 classes 1:1 / £225 per student for 10 classes 2:1

1.5hrs classes

• £311 for 5 classes 1:1 / £166 per student for 5 classes 2:1
• £565 for 10 classes 1:1 / £334 per student for 10 classes 2:1

Business languages:

Single class: £48/hr for 1:1 and £28/hr per student for 2:1

Discounted class packs: 1hr classes

• £231 for 5 classes 1:1 / £135 per student for 5 classes 2:1
• £430 for 10 classes 1:1 / £252 per student for 10 classes 2:1

1.5hrs classes

• £339 for 5 classes 1:1 / £184 per student for 5 classes 2:1
• £625 for 10 classes 1:1 / £351 per student for 10 classes 2:1

Note:
All 5-class packs need to be completed in 8 weeks, 10-class packs need to be completed in 15 weeks. A cancellation policy also applies for our classes, this will be outlined in detail by email.

Materials

Teachers will provide all the teaching materials, unless students prefer otherwise, i.e. textbook, grammar book etc. Teachers will also suggest various multimedia sources for further independent study, depending on areas of interest.
